Start training, figure the rest out later… Whether it’s for Weight loss, general health or any goal specifically, make a start. The rest will follow if you stay consistent and put the TIME in.
Today we saw a few comments on a MASSIVE fitness icons workout video saying ” I can’t keep up ” or “No way I can do that!” No doubt these were the exact same people who didn’t see the workout through and turned it off. Then shortly after turned to the cupboard for some crisps and choccie.
Now, there is nothing wrong with Crisps and Choccie. Nothing at all. There’s everything wrong with using someone else’s workouts as an excuse to tell yourself you “Tried”. It has taken that person, be it us or bloody Joe Wicks, 5, 10, or even 15 years to get to where they are today! Now to think you’re going to keep up when you’ve got 2 kids, a full time job and haven’t moved off the couch in 2 years is mental! YOU do YOU and take your TIME.
If he does 20 reps and moves on, to which you do 15. That does not mean you need to go to bed and cry into your pillow. It simply means next week you aim for 16, then 17 then wallah! You’re there.
The best thing you can ever do is make a START. The worst thing you can ever do is listen to the voice in your head which tells you to STOP. That’s your comfort zone telling you to give in, and that’s when you should tell him to do one.
